Since the joint venture between Toyota and Subaru was announced in 2009, we've seen four concept cars from Toyota of its version, the FT-86/Scion FR-S. That situation didn't change at the recent 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, where Subaru once again exhibited the rear-drive platform of what we now know will be called the BRZ with a transparent bodyshell rather than production panels.
MERCEDES-BENZ has revealed prices for its high-tech S-Class plug-in hybrid model. The car, which boasts 100.9mpg and a 65g/km CO2 rating, will cost from £87,965 when it hits the showrooms later this month. The car is aimed at buyers seeking to combine limousine space with city car running costs.

Porsche managed to add two new 911s to its range at the Paris Motor Show, which must now mean you have a choice of at least 147 911s when next you venture out to the local Porsche dealer. The 911 Speedster will be daft money, but the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS will be a little more sanely priced at £76,758 for the Coupe. We actually got the reveal on the 911 GTS slightly ahead of the press days at Paris, but probably because that left more room for the 911 Speedster to shine at the show itself.
